MAINTENANCE SERVICES

In accordance with Client requirements, Apollo Telecommunications will provide all the necessary resources and infrastructure to implement a maintenance service covering breakdown and planned preventive maintenance for all Telecommunication systems and equipment on the site.

                  Provision of experienced and qualified staff to operate a maintenance service regarding failures and breakdowns in communication and security systems.
                  Supply and implementation of the necessary procedures for standby and call-out service.
                  Provision of comprehensive fault reporting and scheduled follow-up procedures.
                  Detection, fixing and recording of faults.
                  Monitoring of operating systems and provision of daily status reports.
                  Provision of Senior Engineer expertise to supervise/assist site based technicians.
                  Supply of technicians to carry out repairs, installation and replacement of equipment.
                  Maintenance of spare parts records and follow up of external repair activities.
                  Ensure warranty issues are highlighted and actioned.
                  Monitor and follow-up third party companies involved in repairs and installations.
                  Production and implementation of planned preventive maintenance procedures and actions.
                  Liaison with QTEL for all Telecommunications license and regulatory affairs.
                  Provision of necessary tools, training, transport and supervision.

Qatar Projects

Apollo Telecommunications recently completed a fast track project for Qatar Armed Forces Military Academy installing a state of the art IP based CCTV system covering the new Accommodation complex. More than 200 fixed and PTZ IP cameras were commissioned along with the storage, monitoring, and video management control center. High capacity core and edge servers communicating over an optical network were also installed to provide a high speed backbone network.

In addition, a server based IKUSI IPTV network was installed to distribute digital satellite channels throughout the accommodation buildings via a high speed optical network.

Security for the buildings was provided by installing a network based TYCO Access control system covering card readers, door control and monitoring, alarm system and card production facility.

Final commissioning and handover of the SIDRA Medical Centre car park CODE BLUE Emergency Call System was completed recently. This IP based system comprises single button flashing blue light Emergency call stations with integrated camera video connected via a digital network to a control room Communications Manager. Twenty four hour monitoring is effected by Security personnel who are alerted by audible and visual alarms whenever a field unit is operated. The system provides such features as voice and video recording, location mapping, event management, remote monitoring and maintenance functions.

The system joins several other similar CODE BLUE installations at Qatar Foundation car park and rail stations.

Recently APOLLO Telecommunications completed the installation of a construction site CCTV monitoring solution for SEG Company at the new KAHRAMAA Tower in Lusail. The requirement was for remote monitoring of live streaming camera video along with archived images available 24 hours a day. The solution provides for access on any Internet enabled device via a website and password protection restricts who is able to view the video feeds.

APOLLO Telecommunications were very busy for RASGAS recently completing expansion PAGA works at Ras Laffan LNG plants and loading berths. Works included installation and commissioning of ATEX rated loudspeakers, cables, junction boxes and flashing alarm beacons to improve coverage in plant, tank and loading berth areas.
